Eligibility Criteria – Southern Railway Recruitment 2024
Candidates applying under the Scouts & Guides quota were required to fulfil the following conditions:
Active member of a Scouts & Guides organisation for the last 5 years
Participation in:
At least two events at the Indian Railways level
At least two events at the State level
Holder of:
President’s Scout / Guide / Rover / Ranger Award
OR Himalayan Wood Badge
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age:
Level-2: 30 Years
Level-1: 33 Years
Age relaxation was applicable as per government rules.
Application Fee (2024 Recruitment)
All Candidates: ₹500/-
SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PwBD / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically Backward Classes: ₹250/-
Selection Process – Southern Railway Recruitment 2024
The selection process consisted of two stages:
Written Test
Assessment of Scouts & Guides Activities, including:
Participation in District Rallies
Participation in State-level events
Specialised Scouts & Guides courses at State / National / All Indian Railways level
Participation in Jamboree and All Indian Railway events
