The official notification for the CDS II examination was released on 17th May 2023, so the exam registrations started on the official website.
The notification states a total of 349 vacancies in various departments. Check out the notification pdf for details.
The mode of application is online, but the mode of examination is to be offline.

Who are eligible to apply?
All unmarried men and women can apply.
The age limit requirement has not been clearly clarified yet.
The officials have announced that the exam will be conducted on 3rd September 2023.
Note that the last date for application is 6th June 2023.
The admit card for the exam will be released in August 2023; the date has not been specified.
Application fee: 200/- for all categories except women/SC/ST are exempted from paying the fee.
