SSC JE is an abbreviation for Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineers. Every year, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) holds the SSC JE Exam to choose qualified applicants for the hiring of Junior Engineers in the Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Quantity Surveying and Contracts positions for numerous Departments in the Government of India.
SSC JE exam pattern
The SSC JE Exam will comprise two papers, Paper-I, and Paper II. Online computer-based testing will be utilized for conducting Paper I. The Paper-II Exam is an offline written test of the descriptive type. There is a 120-minute time limit on each Paper. Paper I has a 0.25% mark deduction for each wrong response.
Note: An applicant must only attempt the section of Paper I or Paper II for General Engineering that they selected when filling out the SSC JE Application Form.
