ONGC Apprenticeship 2024: The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), esteemed as India’s leading energy company and classified as a ‘Maharatna’ Central Public Sector Enterprise, is involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas both domestically and globally. As part of the national skill development initiative, ONGC is now accepting applications for apprenticeships in various operational sectors across 25 work centers.
Eligibility Criteria For ONGC Apprenticeship 2024
- Application Specifics:
Applicants are eligible to apply for a work center only if they either reside in or have earned their qualifications from the specified districts listed in Annexure 1. Category reservations, including SC/ST/OBC/PwBD, will be provided as per government regulations.
- Age Requirements for ONGC Apprenticeship 2024
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 24 years (as of 25.10.2024). Applicants should have been born between October 25, 2000, and October 25, 2006.
Concessions and Relaxations under ONGC Apprenticeship 2024
Upper age limit is relaxed by:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates
Candidates from PwBD categories receive age relaxation up to:
- 10 years (15 years for SC/ST)

Application Process for ONGC Apprenticeship 2024
Candidates wishing to undergo apprenticeship training under ONGC Apprenticeship 2024 should apply through the online portal: www.ongcapprentices.ongc.co.in from 05.10.2024 to 25.10.2024.

Stipend Details of ONGC Apprenticeship 2024
During the ONGC Apprenticeship 2024 training period, apprentices will be provided a monthly stipend in line with the provisions of the Apprentices Act:
- Graduate Apprentice (B.A/B.Com/B.Sc/B.B.A/B.E/B.Tech): ₹9,000
- Three-Year Diploma in Engineering: ₹8,050
- Trade Apprentices (10th/12th): ₹7,000
- Trade Apprentices (with ITI qualification for a one-year program) will receive a stipend of ₹7,700.
- Trade Apprentices (ITI Trade of Two-Year Duration): ₹8,050
Selection Process of ONGC Apprenticeship 2024
The selection process for ONGC Apprenticeship 2024 engagement will be determined by merit, based on the marks achieved in the qualifying exam. In cases where merit is tied, older candidates will be prioritized. No canvassing or influencing will be tolerated and may result in disqualification.
