What is NEET?
NEET is an abbreviation for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. For those who want to pursue a career in medicine, a single-level national exam is conducted, allowing them to apply for admission to medical programs at the nation’s several medical institutions.
Eligibility Criteria for NEET
The minimum educational criteria for students to be eligible to take the NEET is completing their class 12 board exams from a recognized institution. A student must be in the science stream and have majors in Biology/Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. You must receive a score of at least 50%.
NEET Exam Pattern
- There will be 200 multiple-choice questions on the NEET 2024 exam paper, each worth 4 marks, although only 180 of them must be answered.
- One mark is subtracted from the final score for each incorrect response.
- The Physics, Chemistry, and Biology topics from the class 11 and 12 syllabus will be covered in the NEET question papers.
- English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu are among the 13 languages that will be offered in the NEET question paper.
