The Mizoram Public Service Commission, commonly referred to as Mizoram PSC, is a constitutional body that was established in 1989 under the provisions of Article 315 of the Constitution of India. Mizoram PSC is responsible for conducting recruitment exams and interviews for various administrative positions in the state government of Mizoram. The commission’s main objective is to ensure that the recruitment process is transparent, fair, and based on merit.

The commission is responsible for advising the state government on matters relating to recruitment, promotions, and disciplinary actions. Mizoram Public Service Commission (PSC) has released a recruitment notification for the year 2023. The recruitment process includes a written examination followed by an interview with the shortlisted candidates. The salary to be received and any other allowances whether to be given or not, will also be declared only after the commission releases the official notification which is yet to be released.

To be eligible for this examination, candidates must meet certain criteria.

First and foremost, they must be Indian citizens and residents of Mizoram. They should also have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or college. Candidates in the final year of their bachelor’s degree can also apply for the recruitment process. In addition, the candidate must have a basic knowledge/understanding of computer applications and a working knowledge of the Mizo language at the middle school level. The age limit to appear for the examination is between 21 to 35 years, although there are certain relaxations for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Candidates are also required to meet specific physical standards and must be of sound mind and body. Overall, meeting these eligibility criteria is an essential first step towards pursuing a career in Mizoram civil services.

Application fee for the category is Rs.300 while for that of the SC/ST category is Rs. 150. For offline payment, the fee can be paid by cash at the state commission office, by submitting the fee to MPSC’s Treasury or by submitting an uncrossed postal order in the name of the state commission.

the recruitment process is entirely online and hence interested candidates can apply through the commission’s official website. Before applying, candidates must go through the eligibility criteria. The candidates can sign in to an account on the official website, and then download the official notification which will be released shortly after, for future reference.

Admit Card: It is very necessary for the candidates to carry their admit cards to the examination hall as it contains valuable information such as the candidates’ name, roll number, date of birth, parent’s name, registration number, and also the date and time and venue of the examination.
