CSAB Special Round 1 Results 2023: Next Step For Candidates
During the counselling of candidates for the CSAB Special Round, they will have five choices like freeze, slide, float, surrender, and withdraw. If you choose ‘freeze,’ it means you’re content with your given program and institute. If you select the option for ‘slide,’ you can switch to a better program in the same college if there’s a spot in CSAB special round 2.
Remember, if you pick the “freeze” option, you’ll need to stick with the offered program and college. However, keep in mind that you might get a different program or institute in future rounds.
If you choose the “surrender” option, you won’t hold the seat given to you, but you’ll still be eligible for CSAB Special Round 2. On the other hand, if you pick the option for “withdraw,” you’re essentially giving up your assigned seat and won’t be able to take part in CSAB special round 2.
You can apply for the ‘surrender’ and ‘withdraw’ options until 3 p.m. on August 12. If you’re not given a seat, you can use the ‘exit’ option to leave the counselling process.
Selected candidates need to complete several steps online. This includes paying the admission fee and uploading necessary documents between August 8 and 12. If the college or institute has any questions, you must respond by August 12 at 5 p.m. Lastly, you should report to your designated college from August 14 to 21.
