The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is held twice a year at the national level for applicants interested in working as teachers in the public sector. The CTET Exam will now be administered offline by the CBSE. The CTET Exam is used to determine whether or not candidates are eligible to teach. Candidates who want to advance their careers in teaching for elementary and upper primary classes must pass the CTET Exam. The CTET 2023 exam will be conducted by CBSE on Sunday, August 20, 2023, in offline format (pen-paper OMR-based).
Date of the 2023 CTET Exam
The date for the CTET Exam 2023 has been officially published by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The test is slated to take place on August 20, 2023. Two shifts will make up CTET 2023, which will be done offline.
Shift 1 is scheduled to run from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and will be for CTET Paper 1. The CTET Paper 2 shift, on the other hand, will take place from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates should pay attention to these timings and prepare for the exams they will be taking.

CTET Certificate Validity
The CTET certificate’s appointment validity has been changed, and it is now valid for the duration of one’s whole life. The amended validity took effect in 2011, as the education minister had stated, and candidates whose certificates had already expired may now obtain fresh certificates that had no expiration date. According to a declaration, the States and UTs shall be in charge of revalidating or reissuing TET certificates to applicants whose 7-year validity period has already ended (after 2011). Previously, the CTET certificate had a 7-year validity period (from the date of issuance).
CTET Teacher Salary
Candidates who pass the CTET 2023 Exam are eligible to apply for teaching positions in Central Government Schools such as NVS/KVS and other Schools, etc. for Classes 1 through 8. The basic pay for teachers with CTET certification ranges from Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34800. A CTET-qualified teacher might earn between Rs. 35,000 and Rs. 50000 in net salary per month.
